The river has plenty of great fish (especially Walleye), and is fabulous for canoeing and tubing on lazy hot summer days. It is also great for swimming and wading with its sandy hard bottom.

The inside has a natural stone fireplace in the living room, and a large kitchen equipped with a large center island and a separate dining area. The home features 4 bedrooms, an upstairs open loft area, three bathrooms (one with a spa tub) and can sleep 8-10 comfortably.

This lovely log home is very secluded and has wonderful decks that open to the great outdoors and the river below. It is truly a marvelous property to experience solitude and nature. The home is located 10 minutes from Park Rapids and near the Itasca State Park (the mouth of the mighty Mississippi River). • Daily rates: $250 / night for 3 or more nights. $280 / night for 2 night stays.
• Rate based on 8 person max.
• Additional persons: $35 per person per night up to a max capacity of 10.
