Welcome to the Precipice! We invite you to stay with us and experience the panoramic view of one of the world's greatest fresh water lakes, located right on the shores of Lake Superior. With depths of up to1400 feet and the ability for waves to be as high as 30 feet, this lake, or inland sea, has been the cause of hundreds of ship wrecks throughout time. From here you can see ships in the distance going to Duluth, a northern fresh water port of commerce and place of interest. The Precipice is perfect with its charm that stands alone.

Features

• The Precipice is a large home located just minutes from Gooseberry Falls State Park. The Lower Level of the home is available for rent and is a large one bedroom (queen) suite equipped with a full kitchen, whirlpool bath, and separate shower, living room with gas fireplace, and a queen size sleeper sofa and looks right out to Lake Superior. The lower level has its own separate outside entrance and there is no shared common space between the lower level and the main upper house. A television, with VCR and Satellite Dish are available and located in the living room.


• The Precipice is located on Lake Superior between the city of Two Harbors and Split Rock Lighthouse, and just a 30 minute drive from Duluth. There are plenty of activities and beautiful sights to visit in the area.

• Weekly: $900
• $145 for 3 or more night stays. $155 for minimum 2 night stays.
• Rates are for 2 persons. Additional persons are $20/night (up to a maximum of 4 persons). See holiday schedule for minimum night stays.
• Payment Due: 3 weeks prior to stay.

  The fee for the RV site is $45/night.

Deposit

• Deposit: $300
• Due at time of reservation.
• Refundable in full upon completion of stay if there is no damage.
• Refundable if cancelled 3 weeks or more in advance of stay.
• A cancellation may be made by telephone only.
• Refundable, less $150 if canceled less than 3 weeks prior to stay.
